    Who is the above picture of, in todays ww11 history. My father got a silver star due to his involvement in the Schwammaneuel dam. Does the picture have anything to do with the dam and 78th infantry? I wonder if he is in that picture.
    One covered by letters looks like it could be him.

      Hi Sharon, I’m not sure which photo you’re referring to. The photo you commented on (you commented on the photo, not the post) is of the dam itself, and there are no people visible. Let me know which date the post is for, and I can answer better.
