85 Years Ago—Feb. 22, 1941: First mass roundup of Jews in the Netherlands: in Amsterdam, 427 men are arrested in reprisal for the death of a Dutch Nazi party member.
Dutch communist paper De Waarheid calls for a general strike in response to roundup of Jews.
Bread ration in Jewish ghetto in Warsaw is reduced to 3 ounces per day.
