Sending you a photo from the Barksdale AFB , LA paper printed 1944 Sept. It’s about my godfather ( psst: he’s actually my bio-Dad) while based in Tunisia, it tells how he earned the Distinguished Flying Cross ( with a V) at age 22or 23., plus a couple other missions over Italy.
