I got my preordered copy yesterday! Started last evening, it is very interesting. I can see the scenes, Sarah’s writing is so well done, like a movie. I’m trying to read slow to take it all in!!

My pre-ordered copy should be here soon, I’m beyond excited! I love your books! Thank you for the giveaway chance, such lovely prizes! My mom was from Liverpool, it was wonderful to visit there, and my husband and I were stationed at RAF Wethersfield. I love reading stories set in England, especially during the war.

I must say this is a delightful giveaway celebrating the release of Embers in the Sky. It was quite interesting hearing the backstory on the items as well. Seeing the tins etc., brought a plethora of memories back to me. In 2009, my husband and I went to London to celebrate our 20th anniversary. One of the main purposes of our trip was to buy tea! I told my husband we would only take one rolling backpack each, so travel would be easier and to trust me on it. (this was a surprise trip for him.) Well, we bought so much tea, we had to leave most of our clothes. LOL
Then I must admit I got teary-eyed when you showed The Secret Garden devotional book. I loved that story as a child (and even now.) I didn’t remember that Colin suffered from asthma. I now have a severe type of adult onset asthma and it’s brutal. It was kind of a ah ha moment for me. Your joyous video sparked so many memories and emotions, I’m presently a bit gobsmacked. Probably should go make a cuppa and just bask in the memories for a while. Congratulations on your release day. I’m delighted for you and for us, because we get to read it!

Hi Barbara! I’m not sure what Colin’s ailment was, but he was an invalid – and my Hugh was treated as an invalid too. And I’m so glad the video prompted so many happy memories! Go have some tea and enjoy.
