The Refuge of Le Chambon Cover Reveal!
Today I’m pleased to reveal the cover for my next World War II novel, The Refuge of Le Chambon, which is scheduled to release from Revell Books on February 2, 2027.

The Refuge of Le Chambon
In 1942, American historian Lydia Burgess has remained in France to study its past, but when a Jewish family in her apartment building is arrested, she can no longer remain a quiet observer of history. Joining a relief agency escorting children to safety, she accompanies them to Le Chambon-sur-Lignon, a remote mountain village in unoccupied France, which has become a refuge for those fleeing persecution.
In Le Chambon, Dr. Christophe de La Croix will do anything to protect the innocent in his care. After the Germans occupy southern France, Lydia faces internment as an American citizen. To allow her to continue her work legally, Christophe proposes a practical solution: Marry him, a French citizen.
But as danger threatens their fragile haven, Lydia and Christophe must guard both those under their protection and the unexpected bond forming between them as the war demands more from them than they ever imagined.
